I am 28 years old and based out of Tacoma, WA. I dabble in a number of arts including web-interface graphic design, photography, sewing, fiber working, woodworking, blacksmithing, and everything in-between.
I am a Viking Age reenact or and take it very seriously. I do a number of public demos throughout the year as well as private events. Those that I work around in this environment are also very talented artisans as well so I do my best to learn what i can from them.

So 2010 has already proven to be a somewhat exciting year for me... kind of... but not neccesarily in a good sort of way... So I will start from the beginning...
New Years Eve went over pretty well; my friend Nick came home from Iraq a few days before and had the great taste of turning 21 on Dec 31... So we went to the Grand opening of the new Hell's Kitchen Down in Downtown Tacoma and saw a number of my friend's bands including the Atomic Outlaws and The Jet City Fix.
Unfortunately, after New Years, I got REALLY REALLY sick... Sick to the point that I was bedridden for 2 weeks and in and out of the doctor's office every 2-3 days. They stil

Focusing on Photography...

So I have started school now... I am going to Pierce College to Get a Associates in Business (DTA) so that I can transfer on to Pacific Lutheran University or University of Washington for a double-major in Business and Scandinavian Studies.
So I have been mostly focused on all of that... but I have managed to get some pictures done. I have decided to make an honest to goodness effort in getting my photography to the level that I can justify buying a Digital SLR body (probably used for now) and get going on some paying jobs as an interest seems to be building for that within the music communities that I belong to...

Transferred stores at work...

So I am exhausted... I am tired and my work transferred me to another store over 45 minutes away... on top of that all, I am starting school again, and that's an extra half hour beyond that 45 minute drive from work. So Thursdays are gonna suck.
As for my "Feature Deviation" a small update... the people who I am doing it for looked at it and loved the look and feel of the layout and were very happy with it's basic functionality, the only problem is the stone is still too wide for some monitors that are still on older settings and so They want me to take that width down another 150 or so pixels.. which means I basically get the privilege of
